Carbon Z Performance Slotted Brake Rotors
Carbon Z Slotted Brake Rotors have a series of machined slots to wipe the surface of the rotor, forcing the gases to expel through the slots. The slotted surface also greatly improves wet weather braking by preventing hydroplaning between the pad and rotor and rapidly drying the rotor surface. The slots on Carbon Z Performance Brake Rotors are machined to minimum thickness. This is done to insure that the rotor strength is not compromised. It also works as an indicator for rotor wear and life.

Keeping safety and reliability foremost for your braking system, all you need to do is look! If the slot is still there, the rotor is above minimum thickness.
This is a direct fit way to greatly improve your stopping performance.
Generally, slotted rotors are recommended to increase brake performance and be used in the most extreme conditions. The least amount of pad to rotor surface area is lost, the slots increase pad bite and the heat and gas is dispelled more efficiently than with flat standard rotors. Autocross or road racing, heavy duty trucks or larger SUVs, the slotted rotor is truly the best for brake performance improvement.
